WINE

The ancient Romans already started to grow wine in Rhineland-Palatinate. They knew what is good.
This tradition luckily endured until today.

On the sun spoiled steep slopes mostly grow Riesling, followed by Müller-Thurgau, Kerner, Burgundy / Pinot Noir, Dornfelder and Portuguese.

Riesling from the well known  wineries Weingart and Didinger (Bopparder Hamm) as well as Ratzenberger and Toni Jost (Bacharach) is a must for everyone who enjoys wine.
